Permanent positions

We are seeking experienced family medicine specialists who want to establish themselves in Norway long-term.

As a GP in Norway, you will work in a patient-centered healthcare system with manageable patient lists, good support systems, and time to provide high-quality care. You can choose between:

  • 1 month on / 1 month off

  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

This allows you to gain international experience, increase your income, and still maintain your life in your home country.

Temporary positions are ideal if you want to explore Norway before committing to a permanent role.

Qualifications

  • Medical license and specialist approval from an EU country

  • Specialist in family medicine, preferably with a minimum of two years' experience

  • Experience in pediatric care and infant check-ups

  • Experience with gynecological examinations in a primary care setting

  • Ability to perform minor surgical procedures

  • Comfortable managing a broad range of patients and diagnoses independently

  • Good communication skills and motivation to learn Norwegian
